Sinister Sourdough is a small-batch cottage bakery based in San Diego, specializing in sourdough breads, pastries, and more made from scratch with real ingredients—and a little personality.

I’m Brittany, and I started Sinister Sourdough as a way to blend my a passion for baking and love for all things spooky. But from the heart of this has always been sourdough. It’s unpredictable, alive, and never exactly the same twice—which is precisely what I love about it. Every bake comes out a little different but equally awesome. Kind of like all of us.

This is a licensed Class A cottage food operation, which means everything is made by hand in my home kitchen using real ingredients and a lot of care. Whether you’re grabbing a classic loaf or something a little more offbeat, you’ll get something honest, fresh, and just a little bit sinister (in the best way).
